Special Projects - 2002 Chevy AvalancheThis was an interesting project for us. A friend of ours from San Angelo just had to have an Avalanche and while the styling of the Avalanche is somewhat controversial we thought we could do some things to dress it up a little and tone down some of its squared off styling. Another priority was to try and make it unique enough that it wouldn't be just like every other Avalanche running around San Angelo. We think the effort helped improve the Avalanche's profile considerably.
Hand painted pinstripes matching the Z-71 Decal. Note the Bowtie integral to the stripe.
The biggest change is the faux wheel flares painted to look like the plastic claddings along the bottom. This helped round out the wheel opening area and minimize the chopped off appearance of the original design. We also texture coated, painted to match and installed the Westin Nurf bars. |
